"I am disappointed to announce that I have had to cancel tonight’s Meet your MP event in Smithills. Parliament was supposed to be in recess this week but unfortunately due to Brexit, the House is now sitting. This means that I will have to remain in Westminster today. I will be rearranging this meeting and I will keep you updated on the future date of this event.
