know that congestion around the Chequerbent roundabout at peak times is a concern for many local residents.
That is why I am pleased with the progress being made with the road between Platt Lane and Chequerbent, which will relieve traffic on the roundabout and on Park Road.
I understand the road will be completed early next year.
