The killing of an unarmed black man by a police officer in America has rightly appalled the world. It is welcome that all four officers have been charged and justice now needs to take its course.
This has led to legitimate demonstrations as well as outbreaks of violent riots which has now cost the lives of five black people in America.
Peaceful demonstration is welcome in democracy, however we cannot have people using events in America to excuse violence. You probably haven’t seen this on the news but last night police across London were attacked.
