The welfare of animals is under constant review and periodic enhancement. Improving the welfare of primates was the topic of a Statutory Instrument today.
It may not be the biggest item in my post bag but ensuring that the standard of welfare of up to 5,000 UK primates is maintained and taken to a high standard was something that I was pleased to vote for.
N.B. This is was about the welfare of monkeys not bishops.
