Chris Green MP will be running the London Marathon this Sunday to raise money for Derian House Children’s Hospice.
Last month the MP also ran the Rivington ‘To the Pike and Back’ Half Marathon, also in aid of his chosen charity Derian House.
Derian House provide end-of-life care to more than 300 children and young people across the North West, including in the MPs constituency Bolton West and Atherton.
Mr Green said: “Thank you to everyone who has donated so far. It’s fantastic to see that over £1,000 has already been raised for Derian House Children’s Hospice.
“Having recently visited Derian House and witnessing first-hand some of the invaluable work they do, I know that this money really will make a difference to the Children’s Hospice.
“Although I’ve already reached my fundraising target, I still hope to raise more, so if you can, please donate by visiting my fundraising page.”
This will be the third time that the MP has ran the London Marathon, having raised over a thousand pounds for Fortalice last year.
