Chris Green MP has confirmed he will be appearing at the ‘Leave Means Leave’ campaign’s first rally being held in Bolton this weekend.
Mr Green will feature on a question and answer panel during the event at the University of Bolton Stadium.
The rally is first in a series of cross-party events that are calling for the government to drop the Chequer’s proposals and has multiple high-profile guest speakers confirmed, including David Davis, Nigel Farage and Kate Hoey.
Mr Green said: “I am very pleased to be speaking at the Leave Means Leave rally taking place this weekend.
“One of the reasons that I resigned as PPS for the Department of Transport was so that I could stand up for the Brexit my constituents voted for and speak out against the Chequer’s proposals.
“With a majority of Bolton West voting to leave the European Union, it doesn’t surprise me that the Leave Means Leave campaign’s first rally is taking place here and I have no doubt that the event will be a success.”
