The decision has been taken today to remove the additional Covid-19 restrictions from Wigan and other parts of Lancashire. The Secretary of State has listened to local Conservative MPs and is going to enable a ward by ward decision making process on these additional measures.
I will now be working with the Leader of Bolton Council, Cllr David Greenhalgh to see what parts of Bolton can be removed from the advanced Covid-19 lockdown measures.
