The reopening of the Bolton Custody Suite

Law and order is one of the biggest concerns that my constituents raise with me.

After years of failure at Greater Manchester Police, improvement is now being seen with the introduction of a new Chief of Police. The new Chief has reopened Bolton Custody Suite and has focussed on arresting criminals and bringing back community policing.

As a result of this, the number of arrests across Greater Manchester has doubled from 32,000 to more than 64,000 in the last three years.

Whilst there is still more to be done, I am pleased that GMP have made such improvements. However, I would be interested to know your thoughts on this.
