Bolton West and Atherton’s over 65s flocked to a local advice and information fair organised by Chris Green MP.
The Bolton MP brought together a wide range of organisations and charities such as Bolton Council, Age UK, GMP, North West Ambulance Service, the Pensioners’ Advisory Service and more.
Representatives of each organisation were on hand throughout the day to let local residents know about the services they offer and provide any advice they may need.
This is the third Pensioners’ Advice and Information Fair that Mr Green has organised and aims to host more in the future.
Mr Green said: “There are so many fantastic services that both local and national charities and organisations can offer people in our local area, yet I often find that many just aren’t aware of them.
“It was fantastic to see many local and national organisations get together in one room to let local residents know what services are available to them and provide them with any support they may need.
“It was also interesting to speak to some of the organisations at the fair to hear more about the invaluable work they do.
“I look forward to hosting the next advice and information fair and more details about this will be announced next year.”
