On his recent visit to Westhoughton High School, Chris Green answered a whole range of pupil’s questions, including on Brexit, the media and what it is like to be an MP.
The local MP was invited to the school by one of their Year 7 pupils, following an English class exercise that asked them to research and write to an inspirational member of the Bolton community.
Mr Green: “It was fantastic to be invited back to visit Westhoughton High School last week, where I met one of their Year 7 English classes.
“During the visit, pupils asked me a variety of questions, ranging from what being an MP entails to what I expect to happen in the coming months over Brexit.
“It’s always fab to see pupils engaging with what is happening in politics and they certainly gave me a good grilling!”
