The Bolton West Older Persons’ fair, organised by Chris Green MP, was a hit with constituents looking for advice, information and support.
The fair brought together 29 organisations and charities, including Macmillan Cancer Support, Serco Leisure, Age UK, Russell and Russell Solicitors, Think Crea8tive and many more.
Over a hundred local older people attended the fair, getting to speak to organisation and charity representatives who were on hand to provide advice and information throughout the day.
Bolton West and Atherton MP, Chris Green, was also in attendance, meeting his constituents and getting to know their concerns.
Mr Green said: “I am regularly contacted by constituents asking me what support is available to them, which is why I organise fairs like these.
“It was fantastic to see so many organisations and charities come together in one room to provide advice and information for local older people.
“During the fair, I also had some interesting conversations with my constituents about Brexit and local crime and it was brilliant to see many people benefit from the information available on the day.”
